The new Opti-Gard™ SoLo is a unique, 1 piece solid metal, reverse acting rupture disc, specifically designed for low pressure applications, from 2 psig.

The innovative design combines an original geometric shape with a unique manufacturing process, offering a 95% operating to burst pressure ratio with a performance tolerance of 3 %. Tested to over 100,000 cycles, Opti-Gard™ SoLo offers the highest performance characteristics available for liquid, gas or vapor, making it the most technically advanced low pressure reverse rupture disc on the market.

Opti-Gard™ SoLo comes pre-fitted with Integral Flo-Tel ™, Elfab’s advanced and reliable non-invasive magnetic detection system. The disc fits all standard Elfab Opti-Gard and Hygienic Opti-Gard™ holders and is supplied in corrosion resistant Hastelloy as standard.

With the addition of SoLo, the Elfab Opti-Gard™ range now delivers the opportunity to rationalize stock holdings by up to 65%.

The holder is machined with Excess Flow Valve tapping and is configured to accept Elfab’s ATEX-approved Integral Flo-Tel burst detection switch as standard.

To ensure the correct performance of a rupture disc, it must be used in its correct holder, as specified by the rupture disc manufacturer.
