Non-Invasive Burst Detection for Customised (OEM) Products

Elfab's OE-Tel allows customers to benefit from burst detection within one of their own applications. Available for a range of applications across a broad array of industries the unique, non-invasive design of OE-Tel provides for a much higher level of mechanical protection than traditional membrane warning systems. The result is a reduced potential for spurious alarm signals.

System Operation

Unlike traditional alarm systems OE-Tel is installed on the vent side of the rupture disc. During operation a magnet arcs away from its rest position, no longer influencing the sensor. This causes it to switch to its fail safe condition of an open circuit and signalling the burst. For OEM applications where the rupture disc is replaceable OE-TEL is reusable.
