Non-invasive ATEX approved burst detection for Explosion Vents

Elfab is unique in supplying a detection system as standard with its explosion vents. Vent (Panel) Flo-Tel™ is a non-invasive fail safe detection system providing an excellent solution for identifying when an explosion panel has functioned under harsh operating conditions.

System Operation

Operating on a simple read switch and magnet technology, Vent (Panel) Flo-Tel™ is designed to offer a practical solution for explosion vent detection.

• ATEX approved to category II 1 GD EEx ia IIC EC-Type Examination Certificate ITS03 ATEX 11359, must be connected to an intrinsically safe circuit.
• Sensor is not in contact with the process.
• Non invasive design
• Supplied integral to the vent.

Vent (Panel) Flo-Tel^TM should be connected to an intrinsically safe supply that is compatible with values:

• Ui = 30v
• Ii = 100 mA
• Pi = 0.75 W
• Supplied with a 2m cable
• Maximum process temperature 200 °C
• Minimum process temperature -100 °C
