Offshore Northern Seas (ONS)
Elfab will be demonstrating its new Ex d-approved burst detection system, FloTel XD and its industry leading Opti-Gard™ rupture disc at this year’s ONS exhibition in Stavanger, Norway between 25-28 August 2014
Flo-Tel XD is the industry’s first Ex d-approved non-invasive rupture disc burst detection system. The new development incorporates Elfab’s trusted and well-established Flo-Tel™ detection system into an industry-standard junction box design, with electrical terminal types that are suitable for most industry standard cables. This means it offers a single product solution, where customers would otherwise have to source multiple items and modify their installation. The incorporated Flo-Tel™ gives instantaneous notification of a rupture disc burst and can be used as part of the control system to stop a process.
Flo-Tel XD has also been nominated for an ONS Innovation Award, the winner of which will be announced during the Show.
At the event, Elfab will also be showing the only reverse-acting disc on the market to benefit from a 3% tolerance and an improved 97% operating ratio, its industry leading Opti-Gard™ product. The financial and operational benefits of this design are extensive. The improved tolerance and operating ratio combination increases the service life of the rupture disc and can reduce stock holdings by up to 65%.
Key members of Elfab’s management team will be present on Stand J980/22 (UK Pavilion)
Customers are asked to contact Elfab prior to the event to arrange a formal meeting.
